2019 DFW’s Best Haunted House Guide

It’s this time of year that I can’t get Michael Jackson’s song “Thriller” out of my head. DFW has the scariest haunted houses around — and some are not appropriate for small children. Insert Vincent Price’s diabolical laughter here now.

Warning: Many haunted houses aren’t appropriate for small children. Some specifically advise against bringing children under age 10. Some houses may also use strobe lights, which might pose some potential health issues — especially for those with certain forms of epilepsy.

Most locations offer discounts if you purchase online or for a group. Some offer VIP Speed Passes so you don’t have to stand in line until you die.

Here are 5 of our favorite Dallas / Ft Worth Haunted Houses for 2019. Have a safe and happy Halloween.

1. Moxley Manor Haunted House
I can assume from the warnings alone that this place will scare the crap out of you. Read the warnings from their website: You may experience intense audio, lighting, extreme low visibility, strobe-lights, fog, damp or wet conditions, moving floors, special effects, sudden actions, and an overall physically demanding environment. You should NOT ENTER the haunted house if you suffer from asthma, heart conditions, prone to seizures, physical ailments, respiratory, or any type of medical problem, or are pregnant, or suffer any form of mental disease, including claustrophobia. Wow. Intense. Scary indeed. This year they offer 2 haunted houses for one price. All new for this year is their 3D Clown Haunted House, Big Top Terror.
